ADMIRALTEYSKAYA
|
The ADMIRALTEYSKAYA Hotel is located in the older part of downtown St. Petersburg where the Moyka and Priazhka Canals pass by the Matissov Island, flow into the Bigger Neva River and eventually move their waters into the Gulf of Finland. The Admiralty Shipyards, the world renowned Mariinsky (Kirov) Opera and Ballet Theater, and the illustrious St. Nicholas (“Maritime”) Cathedral surround the Hotel. If you leave ADMIRALTEYSKAYA and take a 30-minute stroll, you will find yourself in the heart of St. Petersburg: the granite Neva embankments next to the Lt. Shmidt Bridge, the New Holland Island, the Riding Hall, and the Nikolayevsky Palace in Konnogvardeysky Blvd.; the St. Isaac Cathedral, the Bronze Horseman, and the Hermitage in the Palace Embankment. Since 2000, the ADMIRALTEYSKAYA Hotel is run by the AMARANTA™ hospitality operation. This small and comfortable hotel offers the practical traveler a selection of 54 cozy rooms: Twin upgraded, standard Twin room, economy class Twin room(two double bed rooms with shared utilities), and low-price four-bed rooms typically taken by school and university student tourist groups. Each room is equipped with utilities and a television with access to key European broadcasts in English, German, and French. Guests of the ADMIRALTEYSKAYA Hotel are offered buffet breakfast (included in the room tariff), free morning coffee at the Hotel’s Reception Desk, 24-hour Concierge service, taxi reservation service, copier and facsimile services. The Receptionist will help you find your way in the City, book tickets for theater and concert performances, museums and select a sightseeing tour over St. Petersburg and its picturesque suburbs. The Hotel’s personnel will go out of their way to make your stay in St. Petersburg exciting, memorable, and comfortable. Guests are welcome to complimentary rides on the Hotel val to and from the nearest Subway Stations «Sennaya» and «Sadovaya». Route taxis are the most convenient public transportation to reach the Hotel. Take Subway to the Narvskaya Station, get in Route Taxi #1 on the surface, and get off at the intersection of Dekabristov Street and Angliysky Ave. Similarly, you may take Subway up to the Sadovaya Station, go out and take Route Taxi #1 leaving from the square near the Station and get off at the same intersection of the Dekabristov Street and the Angliysky Ave. Those travelers who arrive in the City Airport or one of the City Railway Terminals are advised to take a taxi or a freelance driver, ride to downtown St. Petersburg, reach the Mariinsky (Kirov) Theater, turn to the Dekabristov Street, cross the bridge over the Priazhka Canal, pass the Faeton Gasoline Station, and turn left at the Alexandra Bloka Street where ADMIRALTEYSKAYA is located.
